and how these dynamics shape ecosystem resilience. We are based in the Department
of Ecosystems and the Environment
at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and collaborate with
the Data Observatory Foundation.

We investigate how biological invasions, pollution, climate change, and land-use change alter biodiversity, ecosystem functioning, and resilience.
Biodiversity monitoring #
We develop open, data-driven approaches to assess and monitor biodiversity, integrating species occurrence and abundance data with functional trait data to support biodiversity research and conservation.
